Dr. and Mrs. William Morehead have returned home following an extensive vacation in China.

Howard and Maxine Brooks have returned home following a vacation trip to the South where they joined a family reunion in Bogalusa, Louisiana and also in Mobile, Alabama. Picture taking, fellowship and wonderful food were all enjoyed by family relations.

Sharron L. Willis of Campbell, the author of "In the shadow of Thy wings", a love story, conducted a book signing at Hastings last Friday.

John Bostic has returned to his home in Bartellsville, Oklahoma following a visit in Malden with his relatives.

Mrs. Paula Gremard, Daryn Gremard and Rick Riley, all of McDougal, Arkansas toured the Malden Historical Museum last week.

This is the eighth year in a row that the Malden Nutrition Center has received a perfect assessment by the Southeast Missouri Agency in Cape Girardeau. Lana Johnson, project director, and Rhonda Bramlett, nutritionist, conferred the perfect assessment.
