Mr. Millard Cato of Scott City, Tennessee visited friends in Malden last week. Mr. Cato was a former Malden resident having served with the Malden Board of Public Works and the City of Malden administration.

Mrs. Joy Waller Gee of Benton, Kentucky, near Kentucky Lake, visited with Mrs. Margaret Jackson and other Malden friends last week. Joy is a former Malden resident.

Local members of the Malden First United Methodist Church attended the Charge Conference held at the Kennett United Methodist Church last Sunday afternoon.

It was great to see St. Louis sport's announcer Joe Buck doing the commentaries on the recent St. Louis Cardinals vs. San Francisco Giants playoff games.

Also during those games in St. Louis, Cardinal fan Eddie Bone of Gideon and SEMO University at Cape Girardeau was interviewed by a Cape Girardeau television announcer.

Johnny and Corrine Heath of Senath, Mo. visited the Malden Historical Museum last week. They researched the Robbins family of this early area.

Birthday parties held at Malden's Youth Museum included the following: Luke Weidenbenner, Alden Holstein, Logan Pleasant, Jealin Williams, Logan Moody, Macy Haywood, Zackary Peptigrew, Aquarius Lane, Lydia Bishop, Isaac Winchester, Carson Sisk, Austin Glover, and Ethan Hudlow. Birthday cake and punch were served in the museum's party room for the guests and relatives of the celebrants.

Larry Wagster of Oxford, Mississippi spent last week with his father, J.D. Wagster. Larry is a graduate of Malden High School.

The youth of the First Christian Church walked in the Halloween parade Wednesday night. They passed out candy and invitations to church.
