Mrs. Margaret Gregory Paulus of Arnold, Mo., spent the weekend in Malden with her Hays relatives. They also visited the Malden Historical Museum where the old Gregory wall telephone reposes on the wall over the old telephone switchboard.

Mrs. Tinou Hampton and Doug and Sally Dirks have returned home following a two week vacation trip to France. Following a visit with Tinou's family they toured the Normandy beaches, the World War II landing area the cemetery and the Normandy Museum.

The youth of the First Christian Church conducted the services last Sunday morning. Guitarist Charles Jones of Jonesboro, Ark., participated in the morning youth service. He also serves at the Mo-Ark Christian Camp in Naylor, Mo., during the camp programs.

Youth Seth Proffer of Malden got the thrill of his life when he attended a St. Louis Cardinal baseball game recently. He held up a sign which read, "Throw me a ball". St. Louis Cardinal Carlos Beltrain did exactly that. A great experience for Seth.

Mrs. Judy Kilmer Leet of Pacific, Mo., was tendered a surprise last Saturday night. Relatives attended from Bella Vista, Ar., and Malden. Judy is a former Malden resident and Malden High graduate.

Stokes Howell of New York City, visited Malden friends last week. Stokes is a former resident.

Faith Cochran and her sister Haley Cochran have returned home following a two week vacation with Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Lee and family of West Plains, Mo.

A reunion dinner for all alumni of St. Theresa's School in Glennonville, was held on Friday evening in the church hall before the Glennonville picnic festivities on Saturday.

The Malden High School Class of 1962 will be honored and celebrated during the Malden Labor Day festivities.

"Malden Day" will be recognized at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, on Saturday, September 8. The Cardinals and Milwaukee Brewers will match up in that game.

A number of Malden folks attended the annual Sikeston Rodeo last weekend.
