Terry and Ann McDonald entertained their two sons and their families during June. Oldest son Shane wife Holli and their children Trevor, 7, and Kayleigh, 5 of Ocean Springs, Ms., where Shane is stationed at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi. Holli McDonald is the nurse manager of the Specialty Clinic at the U.S. Veteran's Hospital in Biloxi. Spencer McDonald and his wife Jenna and their daughter Mila from Wattenheim, Rheinland-Pfaky, Germany, spent twelve days in Malden before their return to Germany. Spencer and Jenna are both employed for the U.S. Department of Defense. Spencer is with the staff at Kauserslautern, and Jenna in Hildelberg.
Senior graduate Aubrey Harris representing Malden High School appeared on KFVS television from Cape Girardeau last week. The Certified Nurse Aid Week was celebrated at the Golden Living Center last week Thursday with a festive dinner served to the nurses. The Malden - Dexter bridge club met at the home of Mrs. Ken Long in Dexter last week. A delicious buffet was enjoyed. Arden Tolleson has returned home following a trip to Kentucky Music Festival Week held at Bardstown, Ky. Arden enjoyed sessions learning to play the penney whistle, harmonica, and ukulele, along with a whole lot of sight seeing. Dana Gough of the Malden Nursing and Rehab conducted bingo games at the Malden Nutrition Center with prizes given to the lucky winners. Miss Donna Donellely of Poplar Bluff, visited the Malden Historic Museum last Tuesday. |
