Judy Williams of Dexter, Tri-County Hospice Volunteer Coordinator, passed out sheets to the folks at the Senior Center last Thursday.

Gary Shelby of Wappapello, Mo., spent last week in Malden with relatives.

Miss Chelsea Parker of Malden was honored with a festive bridal shower held on Sunday afternoon in the fellowship hall of the First Christian Church. Chelsea, the daughter of Steve and Patty Parker of Malden, will be united in marriage to Mr. Mat Trudell Saturday afternoon, May 26. Lovely refreshments were served by joint hostesses Brooke Hartsfield, Jeanie Herbst, Jackie Bennett, Melissa Duckett, Lindsey Craft and Patty Parker.

The Malden Speedway Racing action was featured on KFVS television from Cape Girardeau last week.

All proceeds from the Miss Malden pageant were presented to a worthy Malden school organization, very credibly.

The annual spring tea at the Golden Living Center last Wednesday was attended by many relatives and friends.

Malden lost a valuable resident last month when Linda Stewart moved to Greenville, Ark., near Fort Smith; where her sons and family reside. A reception was given to Linda at the Board of Public Works' office. Linda moved her beautiful winning quilt with her to Arkansas. We all wish her the very best !

Lillian Dock visited in the home of Earline, Jack and Todd Ligons at Herman, Mo., last week. She then traveled to Bourbon, Mo., where she attended the Salvation Army meeting. While there she served as the registered agent for all in attendance.

Lillian Dock and several DAEOC employees attended a Cardinals Red Bird baseball game in Memphis last week.

A special Narvel Felts exhibit will be held at the Malden Historical Museum located at 201 N. Beckwith. The exhibit will be held throughout May and June.
