The board of the Malden Historical Museum met in the museum high school room last week with chairman Randy Moore presiding.

Pratricia Hunter of Franklin, Tn., and Mrs. Courtney Gilmer of Brentwood, Tn., have returned home following a stay with relatives in Malden.

The second and third grade students of the Malden Elementary School will present a great musical entitled, "Possibilities" by Theresa Jennings. It will be present Thursday evening, March 1 in the Malden Elementary School gymnasium at 7:00 p.m. Admission is free.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Blagg of Wappapello, Mo. Visited with friends in Malden last week. They are former Malden residents, and Richard is a the former pastor of Malden Spoonerville Baptist Church.

Mr. Wray Graham of Byhalia, Ms., visited with Malden relatives last week.

A new Lento study written by Adam Hamilton entitled "Final Words" will begin the week of March 5 in the United Methodist Church of Malden and Holcomb. The classes will meet at 10:30 a.m. On Mondays in Malden and 7:00 p.m. in Holcomb with Pastor Pam Ekey.

The Malden girl scout troop 412 recently visited the Malden Fire Department to learn about fire safety and operation. They were accompanied by leaders and parents.

Seniors Timaya Bills and Jordan Rice were honored as students of the month at the Malden High School.

Mr. Ken Cook, Malden School Superintendent appeared on KFVS television from Cape Girardeau last week in regard to the recent passage of the Malden school tax in the election on February 7.

Mr. Chris Hon of Poplar Bluff appeared on KFVS television as school Superintendent. He explained the subject of bats invading the Poplar Bluff High School building. Chris is a former Risco resident and a graduate of the Risco High School.

The girl scout cookie delivery truck arrived in Malden Saturday morning. Therefore the Malden girls scouts will be delivering the annual cookies shortly.
