The Malden High School Alumni of the classes 1944, 45, 46, 47, 48, and 49 gathered for a reunion dinner at the Malden American Legion during the Malden Alumni homecoming weekend. Alumni and spouses attending were: Sodie and Ruth Hampton, Bruce and Bonnie Shipley, Bucky and Bonnie Taylor Trinkler, Bill and Jessie Jackson, Ellis and Darlene Snow Jones, Allen and Frances Riggs Black, Mary Lou Bearden, Jim Roehm, Carol Demaree, Betty Deen Higgins, Dot Pennington, Louie King, Cleona Fuzzel Hampton, Waunice Vaughon Turman, Daphne Jackson West, Bill Norrid, Fay Kitrel, Joann Frazier Crank and Harold and Pat Burge

A select number of fourth, fifth and sixth graders of the Malden Elementary School enjoyed a reward MAP trip to the St. Louis City Museum in downtown St. Louis last week. Teachers accompanying the group were Mrs. Patillo, Mrs. Thomas, and Mrs. Schumacher.

Thomas Prentice of Paulsbo, Washington, near Seattle, visited Malden friends last week. Thomas is a former Malden resident and a Malden High School. His father, Tom Prentice pastored the Malden Presbyterian Church.

Bill Ware of Farmington, Mo. spent the Homecoming weekend in Malden with relatives and friends.

Aaron Harris of Hot Springs, Arkansas spent the Homecoming weekend in Malden with friends. Aaron is a Malden High School graduate.

Mr. and Mrs. Arden Tolleson entertained visiting alumni in their home during the holiday weekend.

Linda Draper and Alvin Holliday of Saint Joseph, Missouri were recent visitors with relatives in the Valerie Matthew's home.

An overflow crowd filled the theater of the Bootheel Youth Museum for Rodney Paul and his "Live Birds of Prey" exhibit. Thanks go to Rodney Paul and his splendid presentation. The t.v. channel YHCTV was on hand for filming.

Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Paul of El Paso, Ark. near Little Rock, spent the holiday weekend with his mother, Mrs. Lois Paul of Malden.

Suzanne Stochman of Hendersonville, South Carolina spent the Homecoming weekend in Malden with friends.
