Brandon, Jenny and son Noah Welby have moved to Malden from Bowling Green, Mo. Brandon will serve as the youth minister for Stokelan Drive Christian Church. Dan Hargrave is the pastor of Stokelan Drive Christian Church.

Dr. Bill and Jessie Jackson of Foley, Alabama, near Gulf Shores, spent the Labor Day weekend with Mrs. Daphne West. Dr. Jackson presented the message as guest speaker at the First Southern Baptist Church on that Sunday morning. Daphne West and Jessie Jackson also visited with Kaye Lynn West in Stillwater, Oklahoma over Labor Day. Kaye Lynn is a former Malden resident.

The Malden High School Class of 1951 presented the Malden Historic Museum with a check of $400. Also the Malden High School Alumni Association gifted the Malden Historic Museum with a $400 check. This was the 60 year class reunion for the class of 1951. The Malden High School Class of 1951 met for a dinner meeting at the Malden Country Club during Homecoming Weekend.

Marilyn Holtzhouser of St. Louis and Monnie Sue Murtha of Calverton, New York spent the Homecoming weekend in Malden with friends. Both are former residents.

Gaylon Watson and friends of Piedmont, Mo. enjoyed their annual dove hunt and visit with Malden friends last week. Gaylon is a former Malden resident and recent Piedmont mayor.

Ross and Margaret Santie Kirchoefer of St. Louis visited with Malden friends over the Labor Day holidays and attended Malden High reunion festivities.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Burge of Springfield, Mo. spent the Labor Day holidays with Malden relatives and friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Anderson of Renton, Washington attended the Malden Homecoming festivities over the Labor Day weekend. Charles was a member of the Malden 1956 class.
