Christ in Christmas

Be thankful for what this season is all about.

Jesus was born in that loft of hay,

That we all know as Christmas Day.

Sure, there are people buying out the entire stores:

Spoiling their children and loved ones galore.

But, let's not forget about the true meaning,

Of Christ birth on Christmas evening.

So bow your head and close your eyes,

Thank God above, on Him we can rely.

So, enjoy your friends and family this season;

Without Jesus' birth there would be no reason.

Leave Christ in Christmas and not just today;

Let him in your heart, and keep Him there to stay.
