Thursday Night Football on NFL Network

Posted Friday, November 12, 2010, at 12:30 AM

So, just finished watching the Ravens/Falcons game on NFL Network on Thursday Night Football. Tt was, by far, one of the top five games of the season. Plus, I'm one of the few people who is probably a fan of the Thursday night game, because I think it brings more attention to the League and their network! I watched the game despite the fact I don't have the NFL Network at home. NFL Network isn't on a basic cable package, so I was forced to watch the NFL.com/live feed. NFL isn't allow to simulcast the game, online, in its entirety, so they show most of the game with cut-ins to analysts in studio talking about the game. I've been doing this for two years now and I've actually grown to enjoy it. Basically, I'm an NFL junkie and will watch the game anytime I get the chance. By the way, I'm letting everybody know that I want the NFL Network for Christmas, so spread the word!!!

So, I'm wanting to know some things from all my readers...

1. Did you watch the game? If so, thoughts of outcome and if you didn't, why not?

2. Do you agree with the NFL playing making teams play on short rest with having to play a Thursday night game?

3. Do you think the NFL Network should be on a cable lineup's basic package? Why or why not?

4. And just for fun, who do you think will end up playing in Dallas for the Super Bowl?

Remember that I have one request for those who want to comment: please keep the comments clean and don't put people down. I'm just wanting to start friendly conversation with people and get their thoughts on this. So let's just have a good time talking sports!

1. No

2. No

3. No, it's not a basic channel.

4. What does it matter.

That is my honest answer.

No players shouldnt have to play on short rest on a Thursday, that takes away from preperation. It also risks more injuries to these million dollar men.

i would hope the Titans would be in Dallas at the end of the year, but probably New England. Maybe Atlanta.
