Census, Flu, and Savings What a combination

I have so many things I want to share and there is no way to segue from one of these topics to another gracefully so...
Census It is a FEDERAL LAW that a census be taken every 10 years. Both citizens and non-citizens must be counted. In March of this year every household will receive a questionnaire. This questionnaire will consist of 10 easy to answer questions. By completing the questionnaire and returning it you are not only complying with the Federal Law you are insuring that the state in which you live receives its fair share of the national tax dollars. Each uncounted person could translate to the loss of $1,000 per year, per person. The individual information gathered by the questionnaire will not be shared with anyone, including other federal agencies. Only the information in total will be used. If you do not complete the questionnaire and return it you will be visited sometime in May through July by a census volunteer to garner the information. If you are like me you are not crazy about having strangers come to your house and asking questions so to keep that from happening, please complete the questionnaire.
H1N1 FLU Vaccine There is a lot of H1N1 Flu vaccine available at county health departments and other places. I urge each of you who have not received the shot to go get one. There is absolutely no charge for the shot if given at the county health departments. I had mine and honestly it doesn't hurt at all! I have been told of some places that are charging to administer the shot but if you get it at the county health department it costs nothing so save your money and get it free.

This could result in an annual savings of around $1200 per person. If you or someone you know might be eligible for this please contact me or Jackie at 335-3331 or toll-free at 1-800-392-8771.
