Moving DayPosted Thursday, January 22, 2009, at 11:31 AM
Moving residence is not a task that most people enjoy. The task is tiresome and lengthy depending on the amount of personal items a person has obtained. It seems like no matter how much you have when you move, the next move will involve twice the previous amount. Everything has to be packed away properly so that no damage will occur and so many items have to be handled with care.
We have all had to have help moving or helped someone else move at some point in our lives. Imagine that burdensome chore alongside a President Bush or a President Obama. White House moving day has to be more exciting than any ordinary moving day. All of the Obama and Bush belongings being carried in and out of the historic home with the greatest of care. How much greater is the move into the White House than the move out? Moving out is just another move or worse, a more depressing move because you are no longer living in the White House. When you are moving out of the White House most times it is not by choice and a move against your personal will is not a good time. It seems as though the Bush family has gotten a head start on the moving process, so much that the only items left to be moved is the personal luggage of the family. The Obama's will move right in, swiftly, and without the hassle of moving other items out. As burdensome as this task may be, it is a great and enjoyable task for President Barrack Obama. Altogether, moving, a chore to the rest of the world, is a grand and rememberable event for the President of The United States of America. |
