Everyone's PerfectPosted Wednesday, April 22, 2009, at 10:21 AM
I love how everyone is perfect and no one makes mistakes. It makes me happy to live in a world where no one ever does anything wrong. How I only wish that in the days foregone, the people of this earth would have had the same luxury of perfection that exists today. The poor fools of days past had to live with making mistakes and, subsequently, correcting those mistakes after getting an earful from the one individual who, at that time, was perfect. I pity those poor souls of yesteryear.
In case you didn't notice the satire in the above paragraph, I just want to point out that EVERYONE makes mistakes and NO ONE is perfect. How the people of the current time seem to forget that little fact. People today are quick to point out every insignificant mistake that every other person makes, thinking that they never make an error themselves. The brazen of the bunch do so with a bit of an "I'm better than you" attitude. Personally, I fully acknowledge that I make mistakes and I am not perfect. When someone makes a mistake, I do not belittle them with a holier than thou statement about the inaccuracy of their falsity. I may inform them of the accuracy if I deem it important, however, most of the time, I say nothing. I say nothing because I acknowledge my own oversights and therefore see no reason to point out others. If someone out there is perfect, I would like to meet them. To my knowledge, there has been only one perfect entity to ever grace this planet. And that person is.....
Mr. Perfect, Curt Hennig.... I mean Jesus Christ!
I ask that people begin to realize their own mistakes and oversights before blasting another for theirs. Maybe people should be a little more humble. Yes, Jesus Christ was perfect, and they crucified him.
