Mr. President...

Posted Wednesday, January 21, 2009, at 11:15 AM

Ladies and gentlemen, I now present to you, the first edition of From the Desk in the year 2009.

It has been a WHILE! (44 days to be exact) My last blog was posted on Dec. 8, 2008, (which happens to be my wife's birthday) and was titled "My Interview with David Gist." It was quite a popular blog discussing (obviously) my interview with David Gist. David is a driver for Clint Black. If you haven't read it, click HERE!!

So a new year has been thrust upon us and with that new year, we are receiving a new president. President Barack Hussein Obama officially assumed the role of President of the United States of America on Jan. 20.

It is quite an exciting time. We (FINALLY!) got to say good-bye to former President George W. Bush and for the first time in the history of this country, a black man became the leader of the free nation.

This event has incurred both happiness and anger. Some are happy due to the fact that G.W. will no longer be in the oval office. Some are happy that a black man has finally "done the impossible." (but I guess since he HAS won the election and been sworn into office, the correct term would now be 'done the improbable'). And then there are those people who are angry that a black man has "done the impossible." ('improbable')

I say "CONGRATULATIONS!" to the fact that he has won. His continuing theme in his campaign was "Change We Can Believe In." I hope he gives us that change. As a country, we need it.

I also hope that the nearsighted individuals who are so angry that a black man has taken office will open their eyes to what may be the greatest achievement of our country.

Our country chose to elect a man to office that many generations prior would have never allowed. Obama touched the hearts of many with his down to earth persona. Many people across the nation have seen Obama as a mirror to their own lives. I believe that is why he was chosen.

Congratulations, Mr. Obama. Please, bring us the change we so desperately need.

I leave you with my first political comic. (Enjoy)

Time for a change

There is nothing funny about the cartoon at all(it's just plain stupid). I didn't vote for Obama, but I hope he does well and I wish him the best. I think it's kinda funny that it can be pointed out that some people didn't vote for Obama because he was black (which is true for a lot of people, just like there were a lot of people who DID vote for Obama because he is black), refuse to admit that they look for any way they can to make fun of Bush and looked for anything they could to criticize him for. In the end it seemed to me that people wished bad on him and hoped for him to screw up. Again, I personally did not vote for Obama, but it had nothing to do with race, but had everything to do with moral policies that people don't want to think about.

OHHHHHHHH PLEAZZZZZZZZZZZZ I don't care if he is green with pink polka dots, what part of half- black and half-white do you not understand? Okay so lets say history has been made Jan 20, 2009 or has it because I do not recall presidents's family history being brought up so how do we know that their great grandparents were of black decent? However, I really do not care what color or race the president is but I do care if they have what they need to get the job done. Experience would be one word I would choose. He falls short on that one.

I am formally from Illinois and Obama did nothing for that state nor has he done anything to help Chicago except the corrupt side of the Windy City. Obama climbed up the backs of the most corrupt of Chicago his short history is filled with corruption.

He will NOT even prove he is really an American citizen the birth certificate he produced was a bad fake you don't have to be a rocket scientist to see that. Perhaps from being a long time ago bartender made it simpler for me to tell.

Gezzzz go to any Office Max or any place like that, that sells document papers and I could make me as many birth certificates I need for whatever, I need them for lets say running for public office.

Now about Change, Okay several years ago Obama went to Kenya and well a dictator used that same slogan "Change We Need" First he (Obama) by the Constitution of the United States of America says the person taking the highest office must be 35 or older and PROVE he/she is a United States citizen. Well he (Obama) has the 35 year mark by a few years however, he has not proven himself to be a UNITED STATES CITIZEN!!!!

Until he proves, he is a United States Citizen along with assuring us that he will not make UBL Secretary of Defense I will not call him my Commander n Chief I will not even recognize or give him the honor of calling him President. As of Jan 20, 2009, the great USA became a country without a king.

Hey, Arnold the Terminator here is your chance buddy it seems 2012 is open for the highest office of the US of A. However, sorry I am voting for Ann Coulter.

Why is it the liberal race hustlers constantly stir up racial issues to obtain an advantage? For like the scorpion answered the frog, after promising not to sting him him to death, because it is my nature.

I have not forgotten the democrat senate lynching of SCOTUS Justice Clarence Thomas during his confirmation hearings by the oh so touchy feely liberal hypocrites.

Liberals are liars and phony posers, they appeal to the most base instincts of the open mouth drooler Oprah watchers for political gain to advance their socialist agendas.

BTW, within two years the US and the world will look back upon President Bush's tenure, as the happy times.

Change America will be begging for

Sir/Madame, I respectfully suggest you are nuts.

Bush put this country in dire straights. Who will pull it out is the question. Ms. Palin is merely a parody of herself, well-played by a Saturday night actress. You are but a pawn/ditto-head of Rush Limbaugh.. a self-riteous and pious attempt at a human being himself.

As for C. Thomas...he is a black man, masquerading as a white man whose only legacy is a pubic hair on a Coke can.

Obama's mother was an American, and he was born in Hawaii. How would he not be an American citizen? When did the United State ever have a king?
